Fathuhulla specialises in dispute resolution and litigation and is also a key member of our team advising our clients in matters relating to contract, property and tax related criminal investigation matters.
Fathuhulla acted as the counsel for the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority where he has represented the authority at trial level courts, Tax Appeal Tribunal and appellate courts, including the Supreme Court. Our clients benefit from Fathuhulla’s thorough legal analysis and his conceptual thinking to problem-solving.
Fathuhulla currently leads the firm’s litigation and arbitration practice. He represents and assists the firm’s clients in various matters including tax investigations carried out by the tax authority.
Fathuhulla is a Licensed Notary Public in the Maldives and is licensed to practice at the Supreme Court of the Maldives. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), and a member of the Statutory Committee on Law Reform and Research of the Bar Council of Maldives.
Fathuhulla holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from The Maldives National University.
